Six George III Silver Bright-cut Teaspoons by George Burrows I, London 1795

A very attractive set of six George III sterling silver teaspoons, assayed in London in 1795 and made by George Burrows I. The spoons are of elegant late Georgian form, with beautifully executed bright-cut decoration to the handles and terminals. The engraving is crisp and well defined, with delicate foliate and geometric detail, giving the set a refined period appearance. This is a charming and highly usable set of 18th-century English silver, suitable for tea, coffee, dessert, or display. They would also sit beautifully alongside Georgian porcelain or a period tea service. All six spoons are fully hallmarked and are presented in excellent antique condition, with only light surface wear consistent with age and use.
