Description
Small charming wall mirror with foxed glass and in its original stripped 'gesso' and 'red bole' frame. This would have under underlied the mirror's original gilding. which has been removed to comply with the dictates of fashion, giving the mirror a 'distressed' look.
Made in France circa 1875-1910 (See larger matching French 19th Century mirror in this shop).
