Staffordshire Figure of a Poodle Holding a Basket in his Jaws c.1845
This charming figure of a poodle is made in the traditional two-part mould and is highlighted by hand in enamels around his face and the tips of his paws. There is a painter's signature mark to the underside of the base.

Wessex House Antiques has clarified that the Staffordshire Figure of a Poodle Holding a Basket in his Jaws c.1845 (LA127024) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1845
condition
The figure is in very good condition. There are a couple of small firing cracks which were made during manufacture and have always been present. There is no restoration or retouching to the figure. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this lovely piece.
