Staffordshire Pearlware Bocage Shepherd Figure James Hudson

Charming antique English Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure of a shepherd figure attributed to the Dudson factory in Stoke-on-Trent, dating from approximately 1830-1860. From the mid-1830s until the early 1900s several Staffordshire factories specialised in these moulded earthenware portrait figurines which were decorated by hand and often depicted famous characters or personalities of the time. In good antique condition, no chips, no cracks nor any repairs, expected age related wear, please refer to detailed photos provided.
