Stunning Large George Jones Majolica Apple Blossom Cheese Bell & Stand

A fabulous large majolica cheese bell and stand by George Jones & Sons. Decorated with the Apple Blossom pattern, set on a bright turquoise ground overlaid with apple blossom flowers and a moulded, bound apple tree branch to form the handle. There is a wide band of moulded basketweave effect around the body and also to the edge of the stand. The stand is marked with the impressed factory mark and Victorian registration mark for the year 1873. It has the partial model number 80 in black and the inside of the bell has the model number 3240 80.
