Superb and Substantial Georgian Cut Glass Rummer

A substantial late Georgian rummer. This imposing example has an ovoid bowl, with panel cutting to the lower half and blaze cutting above. The stem is slice cut and baluster shaped, with a supporting bladed knop. The foot has notch cutting to the underside of the edge and a polished pontil mark. A great gift idea for that special occasion, with a capacity suited to spirits, wine or beer.
