Superb fully hallmarked gold locket which was assayed* (tested for gold purity*) at Chester Assay Office in 1912.
This large solid gold antique is intricately ornamented and conveys the most charming sentiments.
The cartouche is fashioned to resemble a scroll.
Peonies, forget-me-not flowers, ivy, acanthus and ferns grace this wonderful keepsake pendant.
Scrolls signify wisdom.
Peonies symbolise love, romance, prosperity and good fortune.
Forget-me-not flowers represent deep love and respect.
Ivy leaves symbolise everlasting love, fidelity and deep friendship.
Acanthus leaves represent enduring life.
