Description
This is late 19th century taxidermy full-mount of a Galah Cockatoo with beautiful pink plumage enclosed within a circular glass dome. The adult bird is posed looking straight ahead, perched upon an old dry tree root, amidst natural dry grasses with a pink Levant hawk-moth laid below.
The dome measures 20.5 cms in diameter by 34cm overall height.
