Description
This is a nice example of a Mahogany Teapoy manufactured between 1840 and 1860. The stepped top opening to reveal a fitted interior of 4 lidded tea canisters, a glass mixing bowl and a vacant compartment for an additional glass bowl. The four lidded tea canisters would have contained various blends of teas for mixing together.
