This is a very attractive all brass bed. It has fabulously shaped corners which we think look stunning and give this bed a really unique and charming aesthetic. The posts and top rails end with a lovely contrasting square shaped casting, a nice and attractive detail. The rod ends were spun with furrowed rings again adding another subtle touch of detail. The bed has a gorgeous patina which we have cleaned and highlighted. It catches the light beautifully whilst still respects the age of this stunning bed. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The side rails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base. Whole frame has been cleaned, tightened and restored to ensure full working order and sturdiness. Suitable for standard King size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” base with our Montpellier mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections if needed.
