Description
A lovely and unusual pair of Victorian cut glass and frosted condiment tubs or piggins. Piggins were an early form of cream pail and were used for individual servings of cream on the table. These splendid examples are bucket shaped , frosted and cut and feature the distinctive raised twin handles, that are associated with this delightful design. The bowls are of good size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table. Ideas for use are condiments (salt, pepper or mustard), or sauces such as mint, cranberry, mayonnaise and of course cream.
