Description
Very Wonky Victorian Port Glass c.1880. This port glass must have been made when the glass blower was keen to knock off early! The round bucket bowl has been cut off unevenly and set on a long slender stem when the glass had obviously not cooled enough so that it leans askew above the mould-blown foot which has cooled unevenly with lots of flaws and a bubble on the edge. Far from discounting the glass, the maker sold it anyway (well it does hold port well and he was probably calculating that the drinker wouldn't be in a fit state to notice!). We offer FREE postage to UK destinations. For overseas customers we use tracked air couriers for rapid delivery anywhere in the world at a flat rate of £20. All of our sold items are wrapped with the utmost care and attention to detail. Glass and ceramic items are double boxed for security and peace of mind. We welcome any enquiries regarding the glass. Please message us and we will be delighted to help.
