This stunning no end bed has beautiful original brass caps and knobs, gently cleaned to highlight and bring out natural patina. Beautiful detail in the castings and clamps Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Gallao and heavy waxed to preserve and give an aged finish. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Price includes wood slats ( mattress not included) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats and with our Bordeaux mattress. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm. Saturday by arrangement.
