Victorian Brass Trivet with Cast Iron Frame

A good Victorian English brass and iron kettle stand or trivet. The wrought iron frame designed to hook onto the bars of the fire grate or range, while the adjustable decorative pierced brass plate, on which the pot or kettle would be placed, could be moved back and forth as required. Good antique condition, unrestored other than a surface rust treatment and polish on cast iron section, expected signs of age including tarnish to brass, loss to black paint on cast iron arms, the brass handle is slightly wobbly sideways, please refer to detailed photos provided.
