Description
Unusual style Victorian Dutch marquetry inlaid walnut side chair. The arched top rail with shell and specimen wood inlay on shaped supports with further inlay, above an arched bottom rail. The serpentine fronted seat upholstered in quality material above seat rails profusely inlaid with classical Dutch foliate marquetry in exotic woods. All supported on marquetry-inlaid cabriole front legs with a shaped H stretcher and out swept rear supports.
