Very much in the Aesthetic movement manner of the 1870s and quite striking in its appearance. Opens up for games whilst the drawer and lower sliding box are for sewing accessories. Sympathetically restored, mainly to highlight the gilt decoration in the ebonized undercarriage as well as a re polished top. Some light marks are present under the polished games table but no major splits that are common in these tables. The inlaid top is predominantly amboyna with ebony and boxwood banding. A stunning piece of small furniture that is ready to use and enjoy.
