Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier Mid 19th Century c.1860

This is a mid 19th century (c.1860) Victorian antique mahogany chiffonier. The chiffonier stands on squat bun feet and is fitted with a pair of panelled doors, which open to reveal a cupboard and internal shelf. The doors have carved corners to each panel. Above the doors are two short drawers that have 'cushion' fronts and retain their original green baize lining. The chiffonier features a good wide shelf that is supported with short candy twist uprights, matching the upright columns of the base. This chiffonier is of very good quality, with no damage and only minor bumps and bruises, commensurate with age and usage. A very good clean example of its type.
