Crafted in the traditional manner, the stand features elegantly scrolled arms with eight pegs above a central circular mirror, combining practicality with classic late-19th-century design. The central section incorporates a glove box with a lift-up lid, providing useful concealed storage, while the lower section forms an umbrella and stick stand complete with its original drip tray, all raised on short bun feet. Attractive moulded detailing and turned frontal supports add further period character, making this a refined and functional addition to any hallway or entrance space. Condition is commensurate with age, showing minor veneer losses and light wear in places, but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance or structural integrity.
