A long Victorian Oak and Cast Iron Ships Table. It has a long solid Oak top of a rich warm colour that has slightly rounded corners and an apron. Designed for stability, the top is supported by two substantial cast iron pedestal bases with cast decoration on the columns and crouching lion feet.
Originally intended for aboard ships, today it could be used as a dining table, library table or console and the contrast between the wooden top and sculptural bases means it could be placed in both a traditional or industrial style interior providing practicality and beauty.
In good, original condition with some signs of wear etc. conducive with age and use.
