Victorian Pine Box

A lovely antique pine box in it's original black paint to the outer and green inside. The sign written Queens Distillery is probably later but gives great effect. Aside from the padlock clasp this box is pretty much an untouched and with a great patina. We recently purchased the entire stock of a deceased signwriter who specialised in decorating antique furniture. To complicate matters he also collected genuine sign written pieces and even to a trained eye it is not always easy to discern the difference.
