Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 9ct Rose Gold Plated 1890s Double Albert Heavy 33g

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 9ct rose gold plated (stamped & has a lovely soft pink 'blush'), traditional chunky curb link Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with original big stamped T bar, original dog clip and bolt ring. C~1890's. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 35cm / 13 3/4" total length and weighs a heavy 33 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 6mm width - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Original large T bar to centre (measures 3.7cm length) which is stamped to one side (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); 9CT G.P and carries the makers initials to the opposite side; E.G.T+S. Each length of the chains are finished off with a little oval link - each of which is fused to the corresponding curb link giving it extra strength against the fervorous attempts of pick pockets who were prevalent at the time. Secure original dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and bolt ring to the other end which is ideal to hold a vesta case or similar fob if needed. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar (again with a fused oval link to each end) so allowing the wearer to again display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with just a tiny bit of extremely light overall wear / patina / fine surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) and few little indentations to the T bar - all commensurate with age.
