Victorian Pocket Watch Chain Large Fob Carnelian & Prince Of Wales Feathers

Victorian Gentleman's very large and highly impressive golden gilt and carnelian glass 'stone' pocket watch chain Antique fancy 'Prince Of Wales Feathers' fob. C~1890's. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.1cm width, 1.8cm depth and weighs a heavy 14.9 grams. Extremely ornate Victorian fancy fob which is beautifully adorned all around with an elaborate scrollwork decoration incorporating the raised 'Prince Of Wales Feathers' to centre. Held securely to base is a large, un-engraved, highly polished, oblong shaped, bevel edge burnt orange carnelian glass 'stone' (measures 1.7cm x 1.5cm) which is in amazing condition with no scratches or 'flea nibbles'. Ornate wide bail with little ball finial and big robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina / fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
