Victorian Rosewood & Inlaid Jewellery Box

This is a good late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian antique rosewood jewellery box, the top inlaid with a diamond shaped mother of pearl and abalone shell central cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The box has been re-lined in a plush red velvet, the lift-out tray revealing further storage beneath. It has a working lock and tassled key.
