A superb late 19th Century (c.1880) antique rosewood skeleton mirror, with a finely figured frame and rich patina. The oval glass is elegantly suspended within the openwork structure, its flowing curves and architectural form giving it a refined, lightweight presence.
Accented with delicate ivory-toned finials (missing one now replaced), the mirror pivots within the frame, offering both decorative beauty and practicality. The quality of the rosewood, combined with the unusual skeleton design, makes this a particularly striking late 19th-century example.
A wonderful piece for a dressing table, bedroom, or as a decorative focal point in any period interior.
