Victorian Williams Ink Pot Ceramic Black with Gilt Accents

A wonderful ink pot in ceramic with a shiny black glaze and gilt bands, to the front in gilt letters around the angled recess for dipping pen 'William's Ink Pot' and 'Ro No 331808' for year 1899, with its original screw stopper. A great addition to any collection or simply a beautifully decorative desk ornament that can still be used today. Good antique condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, some loss to gilding and some surface scratches and other minor blemishes commensurate with its age, lid is original and screws on perfectly tight, please check photos provided.
