Vintage Dark Oak Sideboard

A handsome vintage dark oak sideboard of traditional form, offering generous storage and excellent character. A solid, sturdy piece with rich oak grain and warm colour throughout, well suited to both period and contemporary interiors. The arrangement comprises three drawers above a pair of cupboard doors, each fitted with the original brass handles. Both cupboard doors retain their lock and are supplied with a working key. Internally, the right-hand cupboard contains a full-width shelf, whilst the left-hand cupboard has a half-depth shelf to the rear, providing practical and versatile storage. This piece would originally have formed the base section of a dresser, with two small dowel holes to the top where the upper plate rack would once have been fixed. These are minor and do not detract from use as a sideboard. Presented in good vintage condition, with expected signs of age and use including superficial marks and the occasional small chip, nothing of significance.
