Vintage Enamel Powder Compact with Faux Cameo Unused c.1950

Offered for your consideration is this vintage powder compact dating circa 1950 in excellent, unused condition. The compact measures 9cm in diameter and is made of gold tone metal with lovely duck egg blue enamel base and lid. The lid is further decorated with a central applied plaque with a raised faux cameo profile on black enamel ground with gold tone metal border. The case has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed glass mirror under the lid. The powder well in the base shows no traces of powder and retains the original clean sifter and puff. This vintage powder compact is offered in exceptional, unused condition with no wear or signs of use at all.
