Vintage French Art Deco Desk Calendar, Baby Elephant

A gorgeous Vintage French Art Deco desk calendar. Black marble base with white veining and a bronzed spelter baby elephant, standing with its front legs raised and a curled trunk. There are celluloid ivorine date cards, the dates printed in French on both sides of the cards. The date can be changed accordingly and the cards are placed in chrome holders to display. The base is covered with a paper covering. It is a stylish and classy piece with an element of fun, a fantastic addition to any office space or home. Condition: Good condition overall, a little wear to the date cards, a tiny chip to one corner of the marble base.
