Description

Offered for sale is this attractive vintage French powder compact dating circa 1950 and measuring 6.5cm by 6.5cm. This powder compact is made of cream celluloid. The inset lid has a floral design and the celluloid edge has gilt metal scroll work inlay. The compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a framed glass mirror under the lid which is clear and reflective. The powder well in the base is empty and is stamped Made in France.
