Description
On offer is this attractive, unused powder compact by the French designer Germaine Monteil. This powder compact dates to the 1960s and measures 6.5cm by 4.5cm. It is made of gold tone metal and is decorated with a large cut and faceted amethyst glass jewel at the centre of the lid. The glass stone has beaded and scalloped metal frame.
This compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective glass mirror under the lid. The powder well in the base retains the full contents of superglow solid satin pressed powder and the original marked puff.
