Description
Vintage Agme Switzerland powder compact dating circa 1950 and measuring 9 cm by 7.5 cm. The case is made of ribbed gold tone metal and the inset hinged lid is glossy black enamel gilt etched flowers set with pale blue and pink paste stones.
Under the lid is a clear and reflective framed bevelled glass mirror. The hinged inner powder well door is marked Agme Made in Switzerland. The powder well beneath has no powder but retains the original sifter and powder puff.
Offered in excellent condition and appears barely used. There is a small mark to the inside of the powder well and nothing further is found.
