Description
Vintage Kigu powder compact dating circa 1940 in the form of a basket complete with hinged carry handle. It is made of gold tone metal with all over machine turned pattern.
The case has firm hinge and secure push in catch and opens to reveal a cream celluloid interior marked with the Kigu logo and Made in England in the base and further marked Bouquet on the rim beneath the hinge. Under the lid is a clear and reflective glued glass mirror and the deep, open powder well in the base is empty.
This charming figural powder compact is offered in very good condition with no dents or dings to the case and no metal tarnish. The interior of the compact is also in good, clean order.
