Vintage Kigu Concerto Musical Powder Compact Auld Lang Syne Lucite & Flowers Circa 1950

This vintage 1950s Concerto Kigu powder compact measures 9 cm by 7 cm and is made of bright, polished gold tone metal and has a lovely scalloped shape. The lid has attractive machine turned pattern and at the centre of the lid are pressed flowers on a glitter foil background under domed lucite covering. The case has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a perfectly clear and reflective framed, bevelled glass edge mirror under the lid. The case is marked Concerto and has the Kigu logo. The hinged powder well door opens and closes securely and the powder well beneath is empty of powder but retains its original, clean sifter. The musical movement is in good working order and plays the tune Auld Lang Syne. A lovely example - Offered in very good condition with no flaws found.
