Vintage Kigu Powder Compact & Lipstick Vanity Case Novelty Hand Bag Form circa 1950 Unused

Vintage figural vanity case dating circa 1950 manufactured by Kigu. The compact is in the shape of a gold-toned suitcase and is adorned with applied silver tone metal bow further accented with marcasites. This powder compact measures 8cm in width and is 7cm in height measured to the top of the handle. The compact opens by gently pushing the handle backwards and has firm hinge and secure catch. Under the lid is a framed, clear and reflective bevelled glass mirror under the lid and on the mirror is attached the original instruction sticker. The celluloid base contains a Kigu marked gold tone metal hinged lipstick which has never been used. Beside that is a gold tone metal hinged door covering the powder well beneath. The powder well shows no traces of use or powder storage and the sifter and Kigu puff are unused. Offered in very good condition with no dents or dings to the case, no missing marcasites on the bow, lovely shiny, untarnished gold tone metal, intact paper stickers and clean interior.
