Vintage Noritake Hand Painted Lidded Powder Bowl Trinket Box

An attractive vintage Noritake porcelain lidded powder bowl or trinket box dating to the 1920s-1930s. Beautifully decorated with a deep ruby red ground, extensive gilt embellishment and hand-painted scenic landscape panels. The domed lid and matching base feature elegant Art Deco period styling typical of quality Noritake wares produced during the interwar years. Measures approximately 15cm in diameter and 10cm high. Ideal as a trinket box, vanity jar or display piece for collectors of Noritake and decorative Japanese porcelain. Condition is good vintage condition with some age-related wear to the gilt decoration and minor surface marks commensurate with age and use.
