Description
On offer is this vintage Stratton in Hand powder compact which measures approx. 7 cm in diameter. This compact dates circa 1950 and is the Princess shape with scalloped body and star pattern design on the base. This lid depicts Alexandra Danilova and Frederic Franklin in Coppelia and is signed by the artist Baron.
The compact has firm hinge and secure clasp and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed glass mirror with bevelled edge under the lid. The inner powder well door has the Stratton in hand logo and opens by pushing back gently on the lid. The powder well beneath has some pressed powder remnants.
This vintage powder compact is offered in good condition with some dents to the base. No other flaws are found. Thank you for looking.
