Vintage Turkish Hereke Rug

A fine quality Turkish Hereke rug in shades of red, blue and turquoise, with a central field of wild flowers. We believe this rug to date from the early 20th century. An attractive large Hereke rug in very good condition, with the fringing intact and no areas of excessive wear or damage. It is a little faded on one corner due to exposure to sunlight, and there are two small stains around the edge - we haven’t tried to clean these at all, so it is possible that their appearance could be improved on. We had to photograph this outdoors as e don’t have enough space to spread it out indoors, but there are also some photos taken indoors. I think the photos taken outdoors are a better representation of the colours.
