Vintage Vanity Case Carry All Powder Compact Lipstick Case Mother of Pearl c.1950

Offered for sale is this attractive vintage circa 1950 vanity case which measures 11cm by 8.5cm. The case is made of gold tone metal and both the lid and base are covered in genuine mother of pearl tiles. To the underside of the lid is a clear and reflective framed glass mirror with bevelled edge. At the centre of the case is a hinged comb holder and in the base are two covered compartments. The larger is empty and the smaller has unused sifter and puff. Just beneath the powder compartment is a lipstick tube but this is missing the top. This vanity case is offered in very good condition and doesn't look to have been used. There are no dents or dings to the case, no missing mother of pearl tiles, no tarnish to the gold tone metal and clean interior.
