Description
Offered for sale is this walnut chest of drawers by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’. The quarter veneered burr-walnut top with a small back gallery and moulded fore-edge, over a configuration of two short over three full length graduating drawers each with elegant cast brass foliate handles with lily leaf and flowers, beneath the bottom drawer there is a moulding and a shaped frieze, all resting on four classic feet, with ‘Sir Robert Lorimer’ features.
