Description
Watercolour signed and dated 1892 by William Herbert Allen (RBA, ARCA 1863-1943) who was a notable English watercolourist. Trained Royal College of Art. Director of Farnham School of Art. Exhibited at RA, RI, Walker Gallery and Birmingham and Manchester city galleries. The Allen Gallery in Alton has a permanent display of his works. There has been three books published about him.
