Description
A Scottish denomination of 40 shillings (slightly larger than a half crown) from the joint reign of William and Mary dated 1693.
The detail on this coin is quite excellent on both sides (some wear on high points of the king and Queen as is usual) and in respect of the edge lettering (regnal year QUINTO).
