A tactile leather dispatches case, believed WW1 period, with the crest of the Duke of Wellington's regiment (originally First Yorkshire West Riding). This regiment was active 1702-2006 and was a line infantry regiment of the British Army, forming part of the King's Division. It served in most of the great conflicts in British history. Nine members of the regiment have been awarded the Victoria Cross, and no doubt many more mentioned in dispatches! The bag has a number of compartments inside.

Extremely good for its age. There are creases to the front and a couple of very small stains, but no cracks or tears to the leather.
