Albert Edward Jones - Silversmith

Albert Edward Jones was an English Silversmith who was born in 1878. Under the guidance of Edward R.Taylor he trained at the Birmingham School of Art and was for a period a guildsman of the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft. In 1902 he founded A.E.Jones & Co. Although he was best known for making hallmarked silver, his company also produced notable work in brass, bronze and copper. He died in 1954
