Braddock Fine Art was born from a love of unique and affordable art. The gallery is run by Mark who following a successful career in Project Management followed his passion, firstly as an avid collector, and latterly as both a collector and dealer in striking art works.
Based in a Small Cheshire Village our original handpicked art is sourced from across the UK and from our frequent trips to Europe. As a small business, we focus on both quality and affordability, expertly mounting works which can then be framed by our customers.
Each month we add hundred of works to our extensive catalogue across all periods, styles and subjects. Although we have a particular love of watercolours and drawings.
At the heart of Braddock is a desire to share our passion for art with others. We believe that great art should be for everyone and strive to make our works as affordable and accessible as possible.
Take some time to browse through our extensive catalogue, and perhaps you too will develop the art collecting bug.... See more

Hulme Hall is situated in Port Sunlight on the Wirral. It is a conference, banqueting, exhibition and wedding centre. The building was designed by William Owen and his son, Segar. Built in 1901 at the cost of £18,000 to build, an awful lot of money in those days, as a women's dining hall, it seated 1500 girls. It became an art gallery from 1911, housing some of the collection of William Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme, prior to its removal to the Lady Lever Art Gallery around 1922.
During World War I, the artworks were packed away and the building housed refugees from Belgium. In total 111 refugees stayed at Hulme Hall from the 24th October until the end of November. The east wing accommodated 42 men and the west wing provided dormitory for 31 women and 38 children with the central hall served as a dining room and place for recreation.... See more
I have been a professional archaeologist for 31years full time, with a specialist interest in metal small finds from all periods. During this time I have been employed as a Finds Officer, and Conservation Officer, as well as being involved in project management. Due to the downturn in the economic climate, and progressive Osteo-Athritis, I have had to find an alternative source of income, using my skill base, whilst not compromising myself as a professional archaeologist. I continue to work as a field archaeologist, whenever there is contract work available. I am an Associate of the professional body The Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and adhere to their code of conduct.
Therefore I decided to provide a service sourcing antiquities to clients who wish to buy for investment, or who wish to have artifacts authenticated prior to their purchase. I also source and sell artifacts from all periods, but only those from reputable dealers. Most of the artifacts come from family estate sales, or in the lesser case, items which have been recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
Services
I source and supply antiquities mostly found in the UK, and specialise in Roman coinage, bracelets, brooches, but also sell (Roman, Romano-British, Saxon, Viking),rings(as above but right up to 1950's).I also occasionally have some Roman ceramics. My catalogue is quite eclectic, and changes according to the market. I also sell at antique fairs in the North-West, and in Wales.... See more
