It all began during my childhood around a Welsh Georgian farmhouse. The draw of my lovely grandmothers pretty china cabinet, filled with mesmerising fluted floral tea cups.
The Linen Cupboard – piled high with freshly pressed and folded embroidered linen.
A Welsh farmhouse kitchen with scrub top tables, painted legs and well worn chairs. Its huge walk in pantry with dozens of enamelled pitchers, bowls and kilner jars.
The beautiful orchard of apple and pear trees, sweet peas and my grandfather’s perfect vegetable garden with statuesque rows of kidney beans.
These memories, interlaced with exciting family explorations travelling through Europe in our caravan, being seduced by French and Scandinavian homes and traditions, has evolved in creating 'Llewelyn & Company ~ Decorative Living'.
Every detail, every item, colour, texture and scent; every wonderful piece of furniture, old and new; is personally found and chosen by my husband and me. A process which we relish and enjoy.
