A friendly and approachable family run business. We have been dealers trading in fine gemstones, antique, period and bespoke jewellery for over 20 years. Having gained extensive knowledge first working in Harrogate for a BADA dealership before a stint in London’s famed Burlington Arcade our eye for quality has been harnessed through handling thousands of wonderful pieces. We started trading independently from London’s Portobello Antiques Market before moving to offices in Bond Street and Hatton Garden. As exhibitors at many international antique jewellery shows including New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Singapore we have built an extensive network of clients from whom we buy and sell. Now based back in the Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate where our affinity with antique jewellery began we are entering the digital age with our website. Working in tandem with our new office, clients are free to book an appointment to view any stock items of interest or show their jewellery that they may wish to sell. We also make bespoke commissions and will go the extra mile to source any item a client requires that we currently do not have within our stock. We offer repair and restoration services and will always make fair offers to purchase any unwanted items of jewellery whether that be a single piece or a large collection. Our aim is to provide insightful and thoughtful advice within a private no pressure environment. We are always happiest passing on what information we can about diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and jewellery from across the ages to enhance our customer experience. Whether it’s a piece from last year or the last millennium our emphasis is always on quality, from the cut and colour of diamonds and gemstones to the lustre of opals and natural pearls.

I have been dealing for over 30 years, in decorative Antiques and Collectables, with a particular interest in the Arts & Crafts movement, Art Pottery and Art Glass.

We have over 40 years experience in the antiques trade, mainly restoring and selling stripped pine furniture from the west country. We are based in south Devon midway between Exeter and Plymouth and now deal mostly on line but stock is available to view by appointment.

Previously I worked in London as a Chartered Surveyor and have been dealing in paintings for thirty years. I have exhibited at at many major antique fairs and have vetted at them when required. I live in North Yorkshire but trade from Castlegate Antiques, 1/3 Castlegate, Newark, Notts, NG24 1A2 Tel 01636 701877 where my stock can be viewed Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. However it is advisable to ring first if wishing to view a specific item in case it is in Yorkshire. If not at Newark it can then be brought to the shop to be viewed at your convenience.

We are a family owned antiques business based in North East England, on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. Although we specialise in antique furniture, our range of antique clocks, ceramics, glass and metal ware are also quite comprehensive. Our showroom houses all of the antiques you see on our website and we encourage customers to visit us in person if at all possible. Our philosophy is “Excellence through consistent quality”; using his experience of the antiques trade Graham aims to provide customers with all the help and advice they may need in choosing antiques for home or business. All of the antiques we stock are sourced and personally chosen by Graham, who travels the length and breadth of England and Scotland in search of high quality antiques.

We are a long-established firm of Antique Dealers and restorers, with 35 years of experience. We are dealing in quality pieces from the 17th - 18th - 19th and some early 20th century. Including Furniture from top-quality 18th-century pieces to the more simple vernacular country furniture. We also have various lighting, lamps, porcelain (English, continental and oriental ) bronzes, Tapestries, rugs, clocks and much more! We have a large showroom on site in Cornwall PL24 2SR displaying items in room settings, plus a large barn full of exciting objects awaiting some form of restoration. We currently have over 3,000 items in stock. So if you can't see it here always ask. We only restore pieces that require minimal work, not complete overhauling.
