Description

A 17th century oil on panel depicting saint Sebastian tied to a tree and shot full of arrows with saint Roch and his dog at his side. The painting is painted on a type of pine and originally would have been a much larger picture, possibly part of a screen of paintings in a church. The painting has some marks and dents with some small areas of paint loss and old woodworm and restorations , commensurate with age. Overall the painting is in good condition.
