Description
A superb pair of cut glass condiment bowls from the Victorian period. These handsome examples have hobnail cut and turned over rims in the Georgian style. The sides are facet cut and stand on square star cut bases. A pair of hallmarked silver spoons from the same era is included. The tubs are of practical size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table, serving as salt, Parmesan or French and English mustard bowls. Alternative ideas are sauces, such as mint, cranberry, mayonnaise etc. Spoon hallmarks:- London 1873
