18th Century George II Oak Dresser Base

A fabulous piece of Georgian oak furniture, this dates to the mid 18th century and will look wonderful in any room, providing functional storage alongside a sense of history. - 6 small drawers arranged along the back rail, with attractively bracketed drawer boxes. - 4 graduated size central drawers, the top with a bespoke fitted removable cutlery tray. - Cupboards either side with fixed shelves. - Panelled doors and sides. - Decorative external brass door hinges. - Beautiful colour and patina, with a polished finish. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are the usual checking splits at the sides, but it is a nice example of its type.
