19th Century Scottish Longcase Clock

A delightful 19th century (c.1840) Scottish mahogany eight-day longcase clock by Peter Martin, Glasgow. This four-pillar movement has an anchor escapement, striking on a bell, with a seconds and date dial. Fully serviced and all in good working order. This Scottish clockmaker traded from 8 Govan Street Gorbals Glasgow between 1840-1850. As a competitively priced retailer, Sunnyside Antiques only displays the “Best Price”.
